Short-Term Relief and Support for Family Caregivers

We provide temporary in-home support so family members and unpaid caregivers can rest, work, attend appointments, or run errands while their loved ones remain safe and supported at home.

Services May Include

• Companionship and supervision.

• Assistance with personal care and daily routines, provided by a qualified Personal Support Worker (PSW).

• Meal preparation and appropriate feeding assistance.

• Medication reminders, where permitted and included in the care plan.

• Assistance with mobility and transfers when assessed as safe and within the worker’s training.

• Light housekeeping related to the client’s care.

• Support during caregiver breaks, appointments, or short-term absences.

• Observation and reporting of changes or concerns to the designated family contact.
